DITTMAR, F. Willard

I am trying to find someone to do some Lynn City Directory look ups for me. I'm willing to pay a small research fee and the cost of coping and mailing.

I'm looking for data on my father F. Willard Dittmar for the years 1922-1927. He was in school at the Lynn G.E. River Works / MIT Draftsman Apprentice classes.

I would like copies of the page that lists his name / address and the title page of that directory.

Please contact me at the address below. Thank you.

BAIRD, Ellen & SARGENT, Ebenezer Perry

I am looking for information on Ellen Baird (Canada) and Ebenezer Perry Sargent.

Ellen's date of birth is: 24 Dec 1828

She was born in Granby Canada to Scottish parents who came to Canada from Ireland.

Ebenezer's date of birth is: 1 March 1826, Newburyport

I am looking for information on Ellen. I have her family Bible, but do not know much about her parents or their birth place in Scotland.

I have basic information on Ebenezer and would welcome more.

Thank you in advance for your help. If there is someone who has researched either side, I would be very interested in hearing from you.

WILLIAMS, GLADYS

I am trying to trace a Gladys (M) Williams (Maiden Mane) who was born in Birmingham, United Kingdom in August 1901.

Gladys was one of the home children and was sent to Canada in 1912 arriving in Halifax.

We know from her one sister that she married and settled in Lynn Mass. we are not sure if she married in Mass or elsewhere.

We also believe that she married a man with German descent.

I have found a Gladys M Vaniderstine living in Lynn according to the 1930 census but I am not sure if this is "my" Gladys.

Any help or suggestions as to where I go from here would be really appreciated.

Gladys was the sister of my Grandfather who lost touch with 9 of his brothers and sisters as they were all home children.

Many thanks

MARITIME SHIP LISTS, LYNN

I am looking for information on the maritime ship lists for the port of Lynn; my ancestor's mother and father arrived in 1730. My ancestor (John Glene) was born 9 days after they landed; was baptized in Wakefield 06 Apr 1730. If I can find what ship they came in it would help to locate where they shipped from possibly.

Thank you for assistance you can give, even if it's just another direction in which to look.

ESSEX COUNTY COURT RECORDS

I am an amateur Whitney genealogy researcher. On 20 May 1794, Nathaniel Tracey of Newbury obtained a judgment against Nephthalim Whitney of Washington Co. , Maine. I am interested in finding the court record of the settlement of that judgments. Can you tell me if such a court record is held in Essex County, or at the Mass. Archives?

Thank you for you attention to this matter.
