PARKER

I'm trying to help a Parker cousin (Roger Parker) search for his roots. Roger recently participated in the Parker DNA project and by DNA sample demonstrates lineage back to John Parker of Great Burstead England. 5-6 of John Parker's sons emigrated to the MA Bay Colony circa 1635 (Capt. James, Abraham, Joseph, John, Jacob, and Thomas).

Unfortunately, Roger (My Parker cousin) can only trace his family back to his g-g-g-grandfather Isaac Parker  b. abt. 1780, m. Phebe Kingsley 1810 in Calais, ME. Isaac died in Lubec, ME in 1821 @ age 40 years. At the time of his marriage, Isaac was listed as being from Robinston, ME and Phebe from Stuben, ME. WE ARE TRYING TO IDENTIFY THIS ISAAC PARKER'S PARENTS / GRANDPARENTS AND THE LINK BACK TO THE APPROPRIATE EMIGRANT PARKER ANCESTOR. We have been in contact with a ME resource who indicates that Isaac may have been either been from or had family contact with Parkers living in the Salisbury / Amesbury, MA area.

Any help in this regard would be much appreciated including contact info with a MA Essex County person who is knowledgeable of the early Parker's who settled in that area.
