Mr. Barrack,
Came across your query while "surfing" on the web looking for genealogy info. I do not have any pictures of Barbara Barrack but am connected to her. My maternal grandmother was a daughter to George Grant Reid and Barbara Barrack. Isabel Pettigrew Reid, married a Chester Burnham Holway. Over the years we have collected info, mostly from on line sites so I'm not sure just how accurate it is. If you would care to have the info that I have i would be more than happy to send it to you.
Happy to see someone else tracing the Barrack, Watt, Grant, and Reid lines.
We are puzzled about the middle name Pettigrew. Have you found any connection for these names?

I am researching some colonial ancestors of mine who lived in Essex county in the Seventeenth Century. All I know is the name, as it seems to be a fairly common one.

My ggrandmother, Emilie Coleman Ritchie, was said to be adopted as a baby from Sweden. Her marriage to James Ritchie is documented in 1888 in Lynn, but I can't find any earlier trace of her or her parents (listed as Peter and Maria Coleman in the marriage record). They spent the first years of their marriage in Lynn and later moved to Salem, where she died in the 1918 flu epidemic.
