7 April 2002 On reviewing the 1920 US Census, I found a
FETTES family in Andover. (Ref 1920-Roll T625-688-Page 15B-ED 11 Image 1010) A
family of 7 members arte all living at 21 Bakers Lane in Andover Town.
The head of the family is a CHARLES J FETTES, a sorter at the
Flaxmill, aged 33 at time of this Census born in Scotland. He had immigrated in
1905.
(1) I am trying to determine details as to his marriage
(widow 1904-1918 expected in 1905 to 1908)
(2) Secondly, the "J" is this "Johnston". Hopefully there is
a legal transaction, city roll, etc that would list this item. It would allow
for a linkage back to Scotland.
His wife, Marion, aged 33 at the time of the Census who also
immigrated from Scotland in 1906 passed away in Andover in Dec 1981.
I am trying to find details on thier 5 children that were
listed with their estimate year of birth: James J (05 Aug 1908) in Andover by
chance, Evelyn M (1911), Dorothy M (1914), Mariuon J. Jr. (1916) and Frank L.
(1917).
If you can help me along in this, I would certainly
appreciate it. Thanxs-ton

21 April 2002 I am searching for information on my GGGGrandparent Daniel
Fuller who, according to his revolutionary War Pension Application, was born
1761 in Lynn, MA and served in the war as a substitute for his uncle, Adam Hawks
(dates not specified). About 1779 he removed to Temple, NH with his father where
married Betty Dalty/Dally 02 Sep 1782 in Wilton, NH. He had two brothers who
"died in service." Will gladly share info on descendants but would really like
to find information on his family and parents or "Uncle Adam Hawks".
Thank you for any help.

23 April 2002 I am looking for my great grandfather's
natural father; his name is George Leonard PERRY. I believe he was born about
1813 in Lynn or Lynnfield. I have no record of his parents, only know that he
married a Dorcas Newhall and had two children Jane and Charles, and then he died
of Typhus just 2 weeks before my great grandfather was born in Dec. 1844.
I would love to hear from anyone that knows anything about
any of these people or about the epidemic of 1844. I believe that after the
death of her husband Dorcas Newhall PERRY moved to Marshfield, Plymouth, MA and
married James Heale where they raised my great grandfather and his brother and
sister.
Thank You
