Edmond M Lapierre Sr., Clarinda Lapierre
Hello, I am trying to verify the town of origin in Quebec for the above. I know they lived in Haverhill by 18880 and possibly as early as 1871 as their daughter Odena was born in Massachusetts about 1871.
I believe Edmond to be born about 1842 in Canada, and Clarinda (possible maiden name "Chalifour") to be born about 1844 in Canada. Their marriage was definitely in Canada, about 1862.
If anyone could tell me where in Essex County I could find records (naturalization or other) that would verify where they resided in Canada, I would be extremely grateful.

Arthur Galarneau
Looking for a date of death for my great-grandfather, Arthur Galarneau. Born in Canada on 15 Feb 1857, son of Lazare Galarneau. Husband of Caroline (Landry) Galarneau. Arthur died in Lawrence, MA, sometimes between April 1930 and Feb.. 1931.
[He was living with his daughter and son-in-law in the 1930 census of Lawrence, and Caroline died in Feb. 1931. A living grandchild of Arthur recalls that her grandfather died when she was in second grade, and that he died BEFORE her grandmother...she recalls her grandmother crying at his burial...)
Also trying to find if Arthur was ever naturalized... They immigrated about 1905.
