William P KNIGHT of Haverhill
I am looking for someone who can check an Obituary Index or actual microfilm for the following;
William P Knight, died 7 May 1923 (relatives in Haverhill were: Charles Knight, James Knight, Theodore and Frederick Knight)
Just need someone to check an obit index or look in the local Haverhill newspapers for the weeks after May 7, 1923.
Thanks very much,

BUTMAN, Molly or Polly?
In Ebenezer Pool papers (transcribed version @ Rockport Public Library) Esrom (Ezrom) Morse's mother is given as Polly Butman w/o mention of father. There appear to be "corrections" to the first letter of "_olly" in a couple of cases, as well as mention of a Molly Rowe married to Eleazer Butman.
I have reason to believe that the Esrom Morse born in March, 1791 was the son of Esrom Morse, b. 1765 in Sharon, MA and who "died at sea" in September of 1792 but thus far haven't come up with a positive connection.
The Molly (Rowe) Butman above mentioned would have been about 43 years of age in 1791, possibly a widow? but seemingly fairly old to have been Esrom's mother.
Can anyone help me solve this riddle?

I was wondering if anyone could help me please. My mother in law was orphaned in Lynnfield in 1942. What orphanage, or society might she have gone to in that area at that time?
Thank You, Beth Schofield
