SHEA, Ellen Doyle
I am searching for the death of Ellen Doyle Shea, widow of John J. Shea. I am seeking the names of her parents as well as her death date. Ellen Doyle Shea b. about 1868 in Ireland. She married John J. Shea and lived in Lynn, MA for many years. They had four children Maurice J., Josephine A, John J. and Stephen A. Shea. For a short time they moved to Cambridge around the 1920's, but returned to Lynn, where they remained. The children appear to all have been born in Lynn, MA between the years of 1894 and 1899.Maurice died in 1978 and Josephine around 1991. I have their Obits. Stephen was a priest at Boston College died in the 1950's / 1960's. John J. also passed away in the 1960's.
Ellen Doyle Shea was alive in the summer of 1957. I have a letter to my mother from Josephine (Ellen's Daughter), who talked about her mother doing well in summer heat. Somehow this family is connected to one of my mothers parents, Lt. Michael O'Callaghan (NYPD), Annie Cassidy O'Callaghan. My mother was Joan Marie O'Callaghan McGrath.
