LEACH, Sarah

I am looking for any information on Sarah "Sally" Leach or the leach family of Salem. she married Aaron Knight of Newbury in 1801 in Salem and had at least 7 children. the youngest was a Lucy Leach Knight Chinery who died in 1906 and is buried in Harmony Grove Cemetery. She is listed at 9 Winter Street along with her son Edward in 1850. There is a guardianship record listed in 1785 for a sally Leach as well.

Thanks for any help.

RICH and PERRY

My husbands family was from Lynn, MA I am trying to find current information on the Rich family and the Perry Family.

My husbands grandfather was born in Lynn, Ma. His mother died between 1910 and 1920. His great grandfather died since then as well.

I would like to order death certificates for both Charles S Perry and Joseph H Perry, but I don't know when they died.

Is there a CD I can purchase with current Vital Statistics for MA.

I belong to NEHGS but there vital information only goes to 1910 and I would like to find out more current family information.

BROWN, MARNIE

I am working on the family tree of my wife. I'd done mine for years and made many interesting discoveries, when she finally mentioned that she knew almost nothing about her family. I decided to take on the chore as a present to her, and to her mom who is a very dear lady. Her tree has proven far, far more challenging than anything in my family ever was, even in the "Old Country."

Here is my brick wall in your county:

BROWN, Beth Marnie b. May, 1884 in Massachusetts, probably Essex Co. d. Jan., 1958 in Florida, married to Henry E. MacKinnon. (Jul. 25, 1888-Jan. 25, 1973 born Mass died Daytona Beach, FL) They lived a good part of their lives in St. Louis, where Henry worked for Brown Shoe Co. The couple had two children: Baxter Brown MacKinnon b. St. Louis and Bruce Clark MacKinnon b. Wisconsin. Bruce was my father-in-law.

I know very little of Beth's family. I see in the 1900 Essex Co. Census that her mother is listed as Ruth Brown, b. Dec. 1856 in New Hampshire. Her husband had died (I see in a later census she's listed as "widow") but I don't know when. I know that Marnie is a family name but I'm not sure that's Ruth's maiden name. It may well be, though.

The other children in the family are:

Luther Brown, b. Jan. 1874
Ray B. Brown, b. Feb. 1892.

I'm starting to think the father here may be a Richard B. Brown, b. 1841 in Rockingham Co., NH. The county includes an awful lot of Browns, also Emerson's which I understand is a family name, although I didn't know where. In different censuses both Richard and Ruth are listed as widowed, which is a little strange and the reason I'm going with this as a maybe, but Richard IS listed as the father of a Luther Brown that I'm pretty sure is the one related to Beth.

To the best of my knowledge all were b. in Essex Co.

If you can tell me any information about either Ruth Brown's family, descendents of the two brothers of Beth Marnie Brown MacKinnon, the husband of Ruth and any other information about the Brown family, and any information on the Marnie family. I know that's a family name, and I think it's probably Ruth's maiden name although I'm not certain of that.

If there is any other information that would help,  let me know and I'll see what I can do but I think I have pretty much everything I know here.

Thanks again for whatever help you might be able to provide,

SWEENEY, Moses H

I am searching for information about Moses H. Sweeney. He was born in 1861 in NY. He was in the 1910 Merrimac MA census, single. In 1920 and 1930 he was in Haverhill, MA census married to Mary E. ______. he was a construction and railroad foreman.

I would like information on his marriage between 1910 and 1920 and his descendants, if there were any, although I have not seen children in the census.

Thank you,

Lundberg, Jonas Augustus and Melissa D.

I would like to have information on Jonas Augustus Lundberg and his wife Melissa D Lundberg. Four of their children were born in Amesbury between 1835 and 1845. One of the girls married into the Colby family and another one married into the Currier family. Supposedly Jonas left for the gold rush with a group of sixteen men from Amesbury and never returned.
