CHATSEY /CHADSEY , Mary
Burleigh's 1903 book on the Ingalls families lists a Mary Chatsey who married Caleb Ingalls. Caleb was born 22 Feb 1756, in Andover, per Burleigh. we have info on his ancestors and descendants, but not on Mary's ancestors. She was probably born about 1760, based on the birth dates for the children. Chatsey could have been Chadsey.
Mary and Caleb did not have a son, except Caleb, who died as a child, so there their children's names do not indicate a given name for Mary's father or siblings.
Any Chatsey or Chadsey family info in the 1700 - 1800 time period would be appreciated, especially if it mentions Mary Chatsey/Chadsey.

POOR, Caleb
I am trying to find Essex Co. information about and / or relatives of Caleb Poor/e born 1767 in Andover, son of Col. Thomas, Jr. & Phebe Osgood Poor.
Caleb moved to Burke Co., NC to work as a tanner on the Avery Plantation - Swan Ponds. There he married into the family of Col. Waightstill Avery originally from Groton, CT. After a divorce from his wife Polly Mira, Caleb "disappears" from our family records. there were seven children (with descendants living in NC).
Am planning a trip to Essex Co. in July to see what I can find.
Thanks for any help anyone can give.
Thank you!

WILSON /WILLSON, Elias
My ancestor, Elias Wilson/Willson was one of the early settlers in essex County, NY from, at least 1807 and the 1810 and 1820 census. Then moved to Ohio. I need to know his first wife's name and wether she is buried in or around Jay, NY. I believe two of his wives died. I have no record of those marriages.
Can anyone help me with this?
