DITSON, Thomas
I am trying to find the burial place for Thomas Ditson of Billerica, the original Yankee Doodle Dandy. He was born on 4/30/1741 and died either in Townsend, MA or Mason, NH on 9/2/1828 or 9/19/1828. I am writing a newsletter for the elementary school in our town named after him - our paper is The Tar & Feather. Thomas left Billerica in 1784, remarried on 7/13/1819 Prudence Douglas from Mason, NH. The marriage took place in Ashby, MA. I need to find the Vital Records book for Mason, NH.
If you can offer any help on my search I would appreciate it.
