WATERS, Richard
Hello, my name is Beth Waters. I have been doing research on my family, and while they are not from Salem, Massachusetts, MA, my husband's family seems to be. While looking at his aunt's family tree, there is a Richard Waters, born in St. Botolph, Aldersgate, London England in 1604. He moved to Salem Mass, where I believe that he must have had at least 2 wives, as he had a few children that were only a few years younger than the woman he married (Joyce Plaise) in Salem, Mass. I was of course wondering if this Waters family had a hand in the Witch Trials. I saw that there were 2 John Waters in Salem at that time, I have 2 John Waters, and they seem to be brothers. Anyway, I am so excited to learn more about this, I love to learn about genealogy, and it's so great to know I will have something to pass on to my children.
