in October of 2004 I received a message that a photograph was passed along to your Society in hopes of finding the family of the photo. The photo was of Abbey Welcome Smart, taken at Oak Merrimac Massachusetts.It is believed to be a graduation photo since it was marked MHS 1897. Abbey was born about 1883 in Amesbury, Ma.to Alexander and Elizabeth Smart. Do you still have the picture? If so would you copy to me with all the information you may have on the Smart family? My grandmother was Jessie Smart and I am researching her history. Thank you, Becky Morgan, Texas

WEBSTER: Seeking ancestry Grace Pearl Webster, Boxford, MA. of her grandfather, William W. Webster, who was born 1801, supposedly in Accworth, NH, married in Gilford, NH on 23 Apr 1823 to Sarah (Sally) Dimond Sanborn. He died in 1844.

Researching my great grandmother, Laura Elizabeth McLaughlin. She was born in Lynn Sept. 3, 1892. She married John Campbell. I found a marriage record for John but the brides name was Nellie McLaughlin. We are trying to find any information, we don't know anything about her family. I do have a SSDI for her stating that her mother's name is Mary. We were told that she was in a Catholic orphanage at one time.
